We have an opportunity for a trainee Engineers Assistant to support our current engineering team. As an engineer’s assistant for the company, you will act as a positive representative to promote and ensure the good reputation of the company, whilst maintaining effective and safe processes and procedures to assist the existing team.
Key features of this position include:
Installation – Some assistance working at height
Installing Broadband Routers and Wireless Aerials. Some ladder climbing required
Installing & Terminating ethernet cable
Helping the efficient day to day running of the team
Providing a clerical and secretarial support for all activities of the team
Undertaking general administrative duties i.e., emailing, record keeping, making calls, typing, managing your own workload.
Ordering and auditing of all consumables
Ensuring effective record-keeping and procedural compliance
Ensuring that prompt and regular communication and support is maintained between all internal and external parties to ensure seamless and consistent service levels are maintained at all times, reporting exceptional matters to line management.
